- Hold Shift and click to select a run of pages, then delete or rotate them together.
- PDFs with different page sizes merge fine. Each page keeps its own size.
- Made a mistake? Press Undo, or Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac).
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Your PDFs are opened and changed by your own web browser, on your own device. They are never sent to us or anyone else, so nobody can see them. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no set limit on files or pages. Everything happens in your device’s memory, so very large documents (hundreds of megabytes) can be slow. On a phone, keep the total under about 100 MB.
Will merging reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are. Nothing is converted to images or compressed, so text stays sharp and you can still search and copy it.
Can I merge PDFs on my phone?
Yes. Open this page in your phone’s browser and choose files from your device or cloud storage. To move a page, press and hold it, then drag, or use the arrow buttons under each page.
Is anything lost from the PDF?
Page content stays exactly as it was: text, images and page sizes are kept, and nothing is compressed, so text stays sharp and searchable. Bookmarks (the side outline) and fillable form fields may not carry over to the new file. There is no watermark.
Why won’t my PDF open?
Password-protected PDFs can’t be changed here. Open the file in your PDF reader, remove the password, save a copy, then add that copy. Damaged or incomplete files can’t be opened either.
Does it work on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android?
Yes. It runs in any modern browser, including Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, on Windows, Mac, Chromebook, Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
