Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Your PDFs are opened and changed by your own web browser, on your own device. They are never sent to us or anyone else, so nobody can see them. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working.

Is mypdfpage really free?

Yes. Every tool is free to use with no sign-up, no daily limits and no watermark on your files.

How can it work without uploading my files?

Modern browsers are powerful enough to read and write PDF files themselves. When you open mypdfpage, your browser downloads the tools once. After that, all the work happens on your device.

Does it work on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android?

Yes. It runs in any modern browser, including Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, on Windows, Mac, Chromebook, Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

Is anything lost from the PDF?

Page content stays exactly as it was: text, images and page sizes are kept, and nothing is compressed, so text stays sharp and searchable. Bookmarks (the side outline) and fillable form fields may not carry over to the new file. There is no watermark.

Why won’t my PDF open?

Password-protected PDFs can’t be changed here. Open the file in your PDF reader, remove the password, save a copy, then add that copy. Damaged or incomplete files can’t be opened either.
