Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Your PDFs are opened and changed by your own web browser, on your own device. They are never sent to us or anyone else, so nobody can see them. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working.

I deleted the wrong page. Can I get it back?

Yes. Press Undo, or Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac). Your original file is never changed, so you can always start again from it.

Are deleted pages really gone from the new file?

Yes. The saved PDF is built only from the pages you keep, so deleted pages are not hidden inside it. If the same information appears on other pages, check those too before sharing.

Is anything lost from the PDF?

Page content stays exactly as it was: text, images and page sizes are kept, and nothing is compressed, so text stays sharp and searchable. Bookmarks (the side outline) and fillable form fields may not carry over to the new file. There is no watermark.

Why won’t my PDF open?

Password-protected PDFs can’t be changed here. Open the file in your PDF reader, remove the password, save a copy, then add that copy. Damaged or incomplete files can’t be opened either.

Does it work on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android?

Yes. It runs in any modern browser, including Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, on Windows, Mac, Chromebook, Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
